You will see some folks dressed up in a suit and tie, while others will be dressed casually. Please wear what makes you comfortable.
For children ages birth - 3 years: , there is a nursery available during SundaySchool and during all Sunday worship services.
For children ages 4 - 5: , there are Sunday School classes for these ages, and a children’s church available during the Sunday morning worship service. On Sunday evenings, children above nursery age accompany their parents to the worship service.
For children 6 and older: there are Sunday School classes on Sunday morning, and they can accompany their parents to the worship service.
Wednesday Evenings: 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings we have Bible drills for all children 1st-5th grade.
In our worship services we seek to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ in a variety of music styles including, traditional hymns, gospel songs, praise and worship, and some contemporary music. In our church, we don't seek a certain musical style, but rather what pleases the Lord, and what ministers to Him.

Discipleship Training - 5:00 p.m.
Evening Worship - 6:00 p.m.

At Decherd FBC, we offer an array of classes and programs for the entire family and for all walks of life. Regular classes and programs include:
Sunday School for all ages – click here for more info
Discipleship Training classes for children, youth, and adults. These classes are for those who desire a deeper walk with God and to receive ministry training. Discipleship Training is held every Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
Bible Drills for children K-5th grade is held Wednesdays (Sept-May) at 6:30 p.m. At Bible Drills, children learn how to use the Bible, an overview of the Bible, memory verses, Bible content, and much more! The children learn through fun and interactive Bible lessons, games, and crafts. The children also compete in an annual Bible Drills tournament.
The GAP for 6th-12th grade is held Wednesdays (Sept-May) at 6:30 p.m. At the GAP, youth are encouraged in their faith through relevant Bible lessons, music, games, small groups, prayer, and much more!

There are entrances on both the side and the front of the building. Once inside, enter the sanctuary and sit anywhere you please. There will be friendly greeters there to guide you.

From Decherd Blvd, turn onto W Main Street (at the U.S. Bank). The church is located 1/2 mile down W Main Street at the intersection with W Broad Street.

There is also a welcome/information center located in the lobby. Please stop by for a special welcome gift and for other useful information.
Monday: 8am – 3pm
Tuesday-Friday: 8am – Noon
